Alma Irene “Helen” Brothers Obituary (1929 - 2016)

Alma Irene Brothers “Helen” was born October 3, 1929 in Hannibal, Missouri to Mike and Lou Ana Gunn Smith. She passed away June 7, 2016 in Kaysville, Utah with family by her side. She married Walter Glenn Brothers, Sr. He passed away August 9, 1976.She lived most of her life in California in San Bernardino, Rialto and Yreka and the last 2 years of her life in Kaysville, Utah with her Granddaughters Toby, Laura, Amanda and Annlynn.Alma enjoyed playing cards, watching Jeopardy and talking, talking and talking and wanted most of all for everyone to be over and more talking. She had a quick wit and had the gift to keep everyone laughing with her sarcastic humor. Her Motto was “More the Merrier”. She could always find room for someone to sleep even if it was on the floor, they were welcome.She leaves behind her legacy of her Children: Cheryl “Sissy” Williams (David), Lorena “Lody” Garrison, Verna “Tina” Cromwell (A.J.) and Michael Brothers; 10 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her Husband Walter Glenn Brothers, Sr., Son Walter “Pooter” Brothers, Jr., Daughter Sharon “Terry” Lynn Brothers and Grandson Steven Paul Blair.Private service will be held by the family.
