Callie Smith Obituary (1996 - 2025)

Callie Jo Smith, a radiant light born on November 1, 1996, in West Jordan, UT, USA, transitioned from our lives on April 6, 2025. She was a beacon of love and joy in the lives of all who knew her. Callie, an adventurous soul with a compassionate heart, was a paralegal by profession, employed at a law office for two years. She was an embodiment of hard work and dedication, and her loving nature radiated everywhere she went. She was an ardent lover of animals, particularly her two dogs, Dixie and Gracie. They were more than pets; they were her cherished babies. Callie's adventurous spirit was seen in her love for the great outdoors, where she spent her time hiking, visiting waterfalls, and admiring the beauty of flowers. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence brought joy and warmth to our family gatherings. Curtis, Carly, and Corey, will forever cherish the times spent cracking jokes and sharing love with their sister, Callie. Her mom, Becky, will miss her smile and her contagious laugh. They were two peas in a pod sharing their love of flowers, plants and the outdoors. Callie was also engaged, to the love of her life, Spencer. They enjoyed every minute they spent together. Both had a love for animals, and matched each other's goofy personalities. Callie was an auntie extraordinaire to her nine nieces and nephews. She was always ready for a day at the park, a bike ride, or any exciting adventure they wished to embark on. The love between them was palpable; they adored their Aunt Callie Jo, and she reciprocated with an equal, if not more, amount of affection. Family was the focal point of Callie's life, always organizing family board games, meals, and gatherings. Her generosity extended beyond her life as she was an organ donor, and at the time of her passing, she was able to help around 100 people by donating her major organs, tissues, and hair. Callie is survived by her mother, Becky Smith, her fiance Spencer Stout, and her siblings, Carly Starks, Curtis Lords, Corey Lords, brother in law Matt Starks, and sister in law Lynnzi Lords. As well as her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and her adored nine nieces and nephews. While her physical presence will be greatly missed, her spirit lives on in our hearts and minds.
