Judith Brunell

Judy Ann (Shippa) Brunell was born August 20, 1940 in Brattleboro, VT. She was the daughter of Mabel Kent Shippa Brown, and Eugene Shippa, Sr.

She married Arthur Lewis Brunell on August 17, 1960, In Northfield, Massachusetts.

Judy graduated from Pioneer Regional High School in 1958.

Judy worked as a Governess and later was employed by the Holstein Fresian Co. in Brattleboro, VT.

She lived in VA., Hawaii, and N.C. while stationed with her husband in the Marine Corps. They moved to Utah in 1966.

Judy loved to do geneology work. In addition to drawing, ceramics, and baking. She was also a Den mother for the Cub Scouts.

Preceding her in death were her husband, two brothers, and her parents.

She is survived by her three sons; Mark Brunell, of Kearns, UT; Scott Brunell, of Florida; and Dan Brunell of Ogden, UT. Nine grandchilden, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother, and several nieces and nephews.

She will be cremated with a small memorial service for all friends and family at Provident Funeral Home on Friday July 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
