West Point, Utah

Our beloved wife, mother and MeMaw, Tracey Kim Carter, passed away on December 4, 2023 following a short battle with dementia. She was born October 27, 1968 in Pueblo, Colorado to Raymond Holloway and Lois Hall.

Tracey is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Scott Carter, their children, Lacy (Mason) Hawes and Jeffrey (Bhavni) Carter, grandchildren Kaesy, Marshall and Micah, her mother, her step-mother, Sharon Holloway and mother-in-law, Lenora Nerovich. She was preceded in death by her father and by her sister, Nannette Aljets. Tracey made many friends in her life and the dearest ones include Wendy, Robin, Linda, Tammy and her bestie, Lenora. She was a proud "Lunch Lady" at Syracuse High School for many years prior to her illness.

Arrangements will be handled by Provident Funeral Home and a celebration of life is planned for January 20, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah. Please dress comfortably - Tracey never wanted anyone to make a fuss over her. A private interment will occur later in the West Point City Cemetery.

The family extends deep appreciation to the staff members of both The Peaks at Clinton Memory Care and Community Nursing Services for the loving care and hospice they provided Tracey. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to Community Nursing Services at www.cns-cares.org in Tracey's name.
